It should be possible to demonstrate efficacy of fenbendazole (& possibly other dog de-wormers) by studying incidence of cancer in regularly dewormed dogs vs. those not regularly de-wormed. If the difference is significant, that would suggest it works prophylactically as well. Maybe there are some veterinary studies on this. My neighbour's dog had a lump in its neck (I don't think it was in the esophagus though) and was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago with 6 months at best to live. However, the dog is still alive. The lump continued to grow but has now stabilized. The dog has lost a bit of weight but apart from that seems OK. Maybe I should suggest she try it.

Sadly learning about fenbendazole too late for my husband, who was diagnosed with stage IV squamous cell carcinoma hypopharynx in June, underwent chemo and radiation through the summer, developed severe pneumonia and septicaemia, recovered and came home for a week before going into hospice. He was there for 4 weeks and passed away on Oct. 30, 2022. He ignored my pleas and 'consented' to three shots: Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna in that sequence. He was 65 and my best friend and soulmate.
