Diffuse midline glioma is a type of astrocytoma that is often located along the midline of the brain. 

The majority of these tumors are found in the brainstem (which controls many critical functions like breathing, swallowing, and heart rate), but can also be found in other midline structures like the thalamus and spinal cord. Their usual locations, embedded among brain regions essential for life, may render these tumors surgically inoperable. Diffuse midline gliomas primarily affect children, but can be found in adults as well.

Diffuse midline gliomas tumors are extremely aggressive. They are very fast growing brain tumors that are extremely lethal with a median survival time from diagnosis of 15-16 months. They typically do not spread outside the brain.

The following is a self-report from a 27 yr old man with a glioma who treated himself with fenbendazole.

December 2021: I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Midline Diffuse Glioma. Unfortunately, it was inoperable so I did the standard of care rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. I felt really sick from the chemo and didn’t finish it off.

March 2022: Those treatments did not work and I was given the horrible news that I had 6 weeks to 6 months left to live…

I found about about fenbendazole from a family friend. The MRI scan shows the extent of the tumor (the white part in the center). The radiologist’s report said it was a midline thalamic tumor with involvement of the left medial thalamus, infundibulum and septum. Basically it was in the center of my brain. It is the MRI marked “OLD” in the Figure and that was from June 2022.

July 2022: I started my first dose of fenben along with other vitamins suggested by others to be important (black seed oil, melatonin 20 mg at night, CBD oil, turkey tail mushroom, vitamin D, boswellia, reishi, mushroom blend capsule, high-potency serrapeptase) and I also used a high-frequency wave generator called a Rife Machine that is supposed to kill cancer as well. I started with 222 mg fenben twice a day, morning and night. Then I worked my way up to 444 mg twice a day, morning and night for a total amount of 888 mg per day. I took a daily liver detox to support my liver function as well as a regular blood test from my GP. (My bloods have always come back good).

September 2022: I had another MRI and the results showed that the vast majority of the tumor was gone! The MRI marked “NEW” shows the tumor mostly gone. The other scan (below) used a different technique and it too shows the tumor mostly gone.

I’m staying on one dose of 444 mg fenben per day in the morning. I used the FenBen Labs product (222 mg capsules).

This stuff saved my life and I highly recommend it as an alternative medicine to anyone who is facing cancer.

First off, a big THANKS to Dylan for sharing his story and providing such detailed information. The take home messages in this Case Report are similar to others we’ve reported. Traditional chemo/radiation is started and either it’s not tolerated well or it’s ineffective. Traditional treatment was both ineffective and not tolerated leading Dylan to search for alternatives. In this case surgery was also not a possibility because of where the tumor was located.

A family friend told him about fenbendazole. Fenbendazole readily crosses the blood-brain barrier(1), so it can directly attack the tumor, plus the original observation that led to the discovery of the cancer-curing function of fenbendazole was in an experimental glioblastoma preparation(2). All the stars were aligned enough to be optimistic that fenbendazole might help.

Within a span of 3-4 months the tumor was markedly reduced using 888 mg fenbendazole per day. The contributions of the additional substances (melatonin, vitamin D, etc.) are unclear because other Case Reports have achieved success using only fenbendazole. Furthermore, we know how fenbendazole works to kill cancer cells so assuming fenbendazole is doing the heavy lifting is reasonable. So, the current thought is that fenbendazole is both necessary and sufficient as a stand alone cancer treatment however, there could be important, as yet unappreciated, critical interactions with other substances that might potentiate fenbendazole’s ultimate effectiveness. We just don’t know yet. Many of the other substances cited such as vitamin D, turkey tail, etc. are more related to immune system function and might be expected to play more of a supporting role. We will learn together what the critical parameters are that ultimately govern how Fenbendazole Can Cure Cancer.

(Regarding the Rife Machine, we don’t know much about it other than it was developed in the 1950’s, it uses low-energy, high-frequency electromagnetic waves to kill cancer cells. There are lots of unknowns, specifically how it would reach targets deep within the brain. You can do your own research if interested).

Finally, the most important take away message here is that it is up to you to be that family friend! Every one of you reading this knows someone with cancer. Help them! Tell them about fenbendazole, send them this Substack. Be that someone’s hero.
